Event: CALLING ALL GARDENERS! Sale of compost! – FortSaskOnline.com

The Morinville Centennial Community Garden Society is thrilled to shovel some grade ‘A’ eco-friendly compost and is asking family and friends to lend a GREEN helping hand by picking up a few bags of nutrient-rich compost – great for gardens and lawns. Each 40lb bag of compost costs $10; 3 bags for $25 or 5 bags for $40.

Contact us at [email protected] to pre-order your compost, which will be available for pickup on May 14.

All funds raised will help the non-profit corporation purchase new equipment and supplies for the Champlain Public Gardens. The funds will also help the company expand our edible perennial beds for everyone to enjoy, as well as run public, season-long programs for the community.

The Morinville Centennial Community Gardens Society is a volunteer-run group that provides organic gardening opportunities in Morinville and promotes organic gardening to the general public. Our mission is to promote urban and organic food production and community development in Morinville. We provide a place to connect with neighbors and share our cumulative plant and food knowledge.
