Cash and designer bags seized after 24 raids in Dublin and Meath

GARDAÍ SEIZED money, designer bags and documents after 24 searches in Meath and Dublin counties.

With 72 Criminal Assets Bureau and Garda employees involved in the searches, a total of 24 searches were carried out, including 11 residential properties, one office and commercial space, and 11 business premises.

The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) with assistance from the Garda National Immigration Bureau, the Garda National Drugs and Organized Crime Bureau and the Customs Revenue Dog Unit conducted the search this morning.

Gardaí said the CAB investigation focuses on the assets of an international organized criminal group (OCG) involved in the cultivation, sale and supply of controlled drugs through a network of cannabis grow houses, and money laundering. subsequent proceeds from their criminal conduct.
